PUMP EXPRESS TO PRESENT COST AND ENERGY SAVING PUMPS AT MID-ATLANTIC BUILDINGS & FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SHOW IN NEW JERSEY
Pump Express will join more than 250 exhibitors at the 7th Annual Mid-Atlantic Buildings & Facilities Management Show & Conference on November 7th & 8th to promote energy saving pumps and products used in the operation and maintenance of buildings and facilities in the Tri-State area. Pump Express will spotlight BJM and Armstrong pumps, providing product specifics, sizing and cost calculations and real life case histories.
“The pressure to keep operational costs down is present in every industry. That’s especially true of the NY Metro area where soaring maintenance and construction costs require facilities managers to find economical ways to keep systems running,” says Pump Express General Manager Ed Drejman. “Our show-day presence will concentrate on Armstrong, BJM and other brands that are heavily applied in the commercial and industrial maintenance sectors. We’ll present efficient, cost-saving pumps for applications ranging from wastewater disposal to HVAC systems.”
Thousands of facilities managers in charge of schools, hospitals, municipal buildings, hotels, shopping malls, apartment buildings, factories, airports and churches are expected to attend the two-day event to be held at the Garden State Exhibit & Convention Center in Somerset New Jersey. In addition to providing networking opportunities, the trade show will feature educational seminars on topics such as sustainability, building commissioning, maintenance, construction and design. Stationed at booth #182, Pump Express will provide one-on-one consultations, give away free t-shirts and present product demos.
“We’re going to present a pump demonstration that will show the energy savings created by using variable frequency drives to operate your building’s vital systems,” says Sales Manager Fred Hettinger. “The display will show the difference in energy consumption between a normal pump running at constant speed regardless of demand versus a pump running at variable speeds based on changing energy demands. We’re hoping that the display will show people who are unfamiliar with vfds how simple it is to reto-fit existing systems and how cost-effective it can be to do so.”
Pump Express is the go-to supplier for high-horsepower, commercial engineered sewage pumps in the Northeast, catering to a segment of the market that can’t wait more than 24 hours for a replacement pump. The company also specs and installs a large number of BJM shredder pumps in commercial and industrial applications, in response to the growing problem of synthetic fibers that clog rather then disintegrate when they pass through traditional sewage ejector systems. With the approach of heating season, Pump Express will promote pumps used in HVAC applications to the trade show audience.
“This is a trade show that focuses on issues and products of key importance to the markets we serve. We hope it will raise awareness of our products and services, including pump selection and sizing and quick turnaround time and pave the way for future working relationships,” says General Manager Ed Drejman.
