What You Need to Know about Effluent Pumps

If you are not sure what an effluent pump does, here’s the answer. This pump works to pump ‘gray water’ or dirty water in different forms. The dirty water may include limited solids. Typically, the effluent pump will pump out the gray water and other wastewater effluents from a septic tank to a leach field.

A sump pump should is not the same thing as a septic effluent pump. A septic effluent pump comes with a greater level of durability in comparison to a sump pump. It can remove water at a higher demanding level. Effluent pumps may last for decades depending on how hard the effluent pump has pushed gray water,

Barnes Effluent Pumps and Goulds Effluent Pumps are currently the best effluent pumps available. Barnes effluent pumps and Gould Effluent Pumps can handle most high head and low applications.
